Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and CompositeFX for use of the CompositeFX website and product (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use CompositeFX on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

CompositeFX aggregates forex news and economic-calendar data and produces AI-assisted pair notes for watched instruments such as XAUUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, and EURUSD. You may also keep a trading journal and optional workspaces.

CompositeFX is market commentary and research tooling, not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or signal service. We do not execute trades, hold funds, or tell you to buy or sell. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. The Service is not offered to children. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you, including any restrictions on trading or receiving market information in your country.

You may sign in with email or with Google (and any other methods we enable through Clerk). You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

If you use Sign in with Google, Google’s terms also apply to that sign-in. We only use Google identity data to authenticate you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, appear compromised, or create risk for other users or the Service.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service except as allowed by law
• Republish third-party news in full where we only store titles, links, or short excerpts
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, or content you do not have the right to share
• Misrepresent CompositeFX output as personalized investment advice or as coming from a licensed adviser
• Attempt to access other users’ journals or workspaces without permission
• Use the Service to send spam or to violate market-abuse or similar rules

Pair briefs, summaries, stances, and targets are generated or assisted by automated systems using third-party news and calendar data. They can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Markets move. Models hallucinate. Sources can be incorrect.

Nothing on CompositeFX is an offer to sell securities or derivatives, a recommendation, or a guarantee of profit. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You should obtain advice from a qualified professional before trading. You may lose money, including more than your initial stake if you use leverage.

Headlines and calendar rows may come from outlets and APIs such as Finnhub, NewsAPI, DailyFX, FXStreet, ForexLive, and similar sources. Those providers own their content. We attribute sources and typically store links and short summaries, not full republished articles.

Sign-in is provided by Clerk. Data hosting is provided by Convex. Google provides Sign in with Google. Their terms and privacy policies govern their services.

You retain ownership of the notes, trades, screenshots, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service for you and the workspace members you invite.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload that content (including broker statements or screenshots). Do not upload secrets you are not allowed to store with a third-party host.

The Service, including our software, design, trademarks, and original briefs we produce, is owned by CompositeFX or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, or frame the Service except with our written permission.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features (including AI models, watched pairs, ingest sources, and notifications) at any time. The Service is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that calendar times or AI notes will be timely.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms. After termination, sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) will survive.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI OUTPUT OR MARKET DATA IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR TRADING.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPOSITEFX AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING TRADING LOSSES, EVEN IF WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF TEN US DOLLARS (US $10) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE PLACES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

You will defend and indemnify CompositeFX against claims arising from your content, your trading, or your misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise. Courts in Kenya will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief anywhere.

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after the update means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
